Craig Smith

Life Coach

This work is rooted in lived experience, not theory. I spent over twenty years battling substance abuse—years marked by avoidance, survival, and learning the hard way what happens when responsibility is postponed. I’ve buried my oldest son after losing him to gun violence, a loss that permanently reshaped how I understand grief, masculinity, and presence. Today, I stand beside my wife as she navigates breast cancer, learning what strength looks like when control is limited and commitment must deepen. None of these experiences were survived through motivation or words alone. They required discipline, structure, and a decision to remain upright when life demanded endurance. House of Tzur and my coaching work exist because I know firsthand that identity is not something you think your way into—it’s something you build through choice, responsibility, and action, especially when life is heavy. This work is for men who are ready to stop running, stand in their lives fully, and build a foundation that can carry both success and suffering with integrity.

My Story

Building Identity, Discipline, and Direction—From the Inside Out

My work is centered on one core belief:
who you believe you are determines what you consistently do.

I coach individuals who feel capable but unfocused—people who know they have more in them, yet find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, inconsistency, or self-doubt. My role is not to motivate or fix anyone. My role is to help people reclaim personal authority, build discipline through identity, and move forward with clarity and intention.

Responsibility Is the Foundation of Strength

I believe ownership—especially in hard seasons—is what builds integrity, stability, and real personal authority.

Identity Comes Before Results

Lasting change begins with how you define yourself. When identity leads, discipline and direction follow naturally.

Discipline Creates Freedom

Discipline is not punishment; it is self-respect in action. It creates clarity, consistency, and the ability to carry pressure with composure.

Presence Matters More Than Control

Real strength is shown by staying present and grounded, even when outcomes can’t be controlled. Endurance and integrity matter.

My Approach

I work from an identity-first coaching model.

Most people try to change outcomes before changing how they define themselves. That approach rarely lasts. Real change happens when identity leads, action follows, and confidence is built through evidence—not affirmation.

My coaching focuses on:

  • Identity and self-definition

  • Personal responsibility and decision-making

  • Discipline without pressure

  • Clarity through movement, not perfection

  • Sustainable momentum built one action at a time

This work is practical, structured, and grounded in real life. There is no hype, no shortcuts, and no motivational talk without application.
